COVID-19 announcement, measures and guidelines (new wave)

Announcement of the DNA Technology Laboratory
Subject: Measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Because the COVID-19 situation in Nakhon Pathom province has worsened, and the province is a maximum-control area, the sample testing process may be delayed by various factors and results may take longer than usual. We apologize to all clients. If you have any questions, please contact our customer relations staff on 081-517-4001 and 097-234-4461.

Staff operating guidelines during the COVID-19 outbreak:

1. Staff work from home to the fullest extent possible. Department heads set the working approach, assign and follow up on work, and staff working from home report on their work regularly, at least once a week, according to the guidelines.
2. In-person sample delivery is suspended. Samples can be sent by private courier or Thailand Post.
3. For samples sent by private courier or Thailand Post, the laboratory disinfects them with alcohol and UV light before bringing them into the laboratory area (this may delay the start of testing or analysis).
As a result of these measures, test reports for clients may be delayed beyond the originally stated schedule. We apologize for the inconvenience.

These measures apply from now until the situation returns to normal, or until announced otherwise. We will inform you again. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Parcel handling guidelines before sending to the laboratory

1. On the side of the sample bag, please write the sample name and the company/rice mill/partnership/other, using ink that does not wipe off with alcohol (or cover the name again with clear tape).
2. If possible, please spray alcohol before packing samples into boxes or packaging, taking into account suitability and any damage alcohol may cause to the sample.
3. On the front of the package or parcel, write the name and address clearly, using ink that does not wipe off with alcohol (or cover with clear tape).
4. When the parcel or samples arrive, the laboratory will disinfect them with alcohol and UV light before inspecting the samples and preparing them for testing or analysis. This delays the testing or analysis of your samples.
